Dr Syed (Syd) Shabbir ( Kilsyth Medical Centre ) got his training from Monash Health at Casey Hospital. He has over 20 years of practice experience in general practice and emergency medicine. Dr.Syd is an experienced GP managing wide spectrum of diseases in general practice. He strongly believes in a holistic and compassionate care of his patients.

His scope of practice includes, but is not limited to chronic diseases, aged care medicine, cardiac health, sports injuries, spine & back injuries, men’s health, child health & women health.

Dr Syd has a special interest in skin cancer medicine. He performs comprehensive skin checks & mole checks with dermoscope for skin cancers and also manages other common skin conditions such as rashes, skin allergies, eczema & dermatitis. He also performs skin surgeries and other surgical procedures on regular basis.

Dr Syd  enjoys long drives, watching movies with family and playing Tennis
